Sawyer County, Lac Courte Oreilles Establish New Economic Development Authority in Northwest Wisconsin
The Lac Courte Oreilles Tribal Governing Board and Sawyer County Development Corporation (SCDC), along with more than 30 businesses, agencies, and economic development corporations, have formed a regional development authority that will represent the economic development interests of northwestern Wisconsin in Sawyer, Bayfield and Ashland Counties.
